The Connected AI Clinical Cockpit: More Productive Teams. More Time for Patient Care
Lecture up to 1 hour
Practice Management and Human Relations | AGD Subject Code 550
Dental teams face rising costs, flat reimbursement, staff shortages, and more administrative work. This interactive breakout explores how practical AI and connected clinical technology can reduce manual work, cognitive load, and avoidable overhead—while keeping the dentist fully in control of clinical judgment and patient care. Using the cockpit as a practical analogy, participants will identify workflow friction across documentation, chart review, imaging, perio, health history, and collaborations with labs, specialists and patients. Learn how returning time to the team can support more complete care conversations, better documentation, less stress, and greater clinical capacity.
Upon completion of this workshop, attendees should be able to:
- Identify high-friction workflows within the dental practice that may contribute to inefficiency and increased administrative burden.
- Describe appropriate boundaries and considerations for responsible, dentist-led use of artificial intelligence in the dental practice. Develop a low-disruption approach for testing and assessing workflow improvements within the dental practice.
