In his keynote address, Dr Taite Anderson, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, harnesses the power of beauty to simplify intricate principles. Art possesses the ability to deeply move and inspire us—this is the essence of esthetic force. As a dentist, you are trained artists with a unique perspective on the world around you. Dr Taite Anderson will draw on modern art as his inspiration, revealing the beauty inherent in oral surgery. Through his original artworks, influenced by the masters, he will take you on a journey to explore the profound value of art and beauty in education and personal growth. Viewing things from a different angle fosters personal growth, which in turn transforms how you perceive the world.
Upon completion of this session, the attendees should be able to:
-
Appreciate how art can inspire change and growth.
-
Find a connection between modern art and your own practice of dentistry.
