Cosmetic dentistry has come a long way in recent years, and creating beautifully crafted indirect restorations has become a true art form. While monolithic CAD/CAM ceramic restorations may be efficient, they often lack the highest level of esthetics that can bring tremendous joy to everyday practice. Whether you rely on sending your restorations to the lab or prefer to fabricate them yourself, this program is designed to help rewire the connections between your ‘ceramist brain’ and your ‘dentist brain’. 

In the lecture, you will have the opportunity to nerd out over the physics of esthetics, followed by practical steps that will enhance the esthetic quality of your everyday indirect CAD/CAM restorations. The hands-on portion will cover simple, everyday stain and glaze techniques for EMAX, guaranteed to give your cosmetic dentistry a boost.

Upon completion of this session, the attendees should be able to:

• Improve their design skills by starting with the end in mind.
• Understand how shade selection and block selection play a crucial role in achieving the desired look for their patients.
• Identify the steps to achieve natural-looking staining that doesn’t wear off over time.

Dr Keerti has practiced dentistry in the greater Seattle area for over 20 years since graduating from University of Washington School of Dentistry. She finished her esthetic training through the prestigious UCLA esthetic continuum in 2006. Since then she has accomplished various professional goals including a Fellowship through the Academy of General dentistry and a much coveted Accreditation through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. 

She was also invited to be a visiting faculty member by the prestigious Spear institute in Scottsdale. She feels especially honored and humbled to be selected as an AACD mentor. Dr Keerti loves taking care of her patients and providing them not only the most cutting edge technology that dentistry has to offer but also the highest level of integrity, warmth and excellence.
