When you consider options for the future, there are 3 primary paths to consider: 1) selling your practice to another doctor, 2) selling to a DSO (Dental Support Organization), or 3) partnering with a DPO (Dental Partnership Organization). In any of these scenarios, you would benefit from maximizing their selling price. In this program, we will explore specific business and financial concepts that drive practice valuation, and related key metrics. Doctors will learn about EBITDA and valuation calculations, financial arbitrage, and the economic forces driving industry consolidation.
In addition, we will take a deep dive into the various aspects of the DSO and DPO business models so you can better understand the pros and cons of these potential options. You’ll gain an expansive amount of information about the business side of dentistry which will empower you to optimize your practice valuation, and make more informed decisions for your future.
