This presentation will delve into the intricacies of comprehensive treatment planning for a patient with multiple dental problems. Through a detailed case study, we will explore the diagnosis and management of a patient presenting with advanced periodontitis, extensive caries, and complex endodontic issues. This session will focus on the systematic development of a phased, interdisciplinary treatment plan, highlighting the critical collaboration required between the restorative dentist, periodontist, and endodontist. Attendees will gain practical insights into sequencing treatment, managing clinical challenges, and orchestrating a team approach to achieve optimal functional and esthetic outcomes.

Upon completion of this workshop, attendees should be able to:

• Develop a structured, sequential treatment plan that effectively addresses co-existing periodontal, endodontic, and restorative dental problems.

• Enhance interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to improve case management and ensure predictable, long-term success in complex clinical scenarios.

Dr Gonzalo Blasi is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr Blasi graduated from dental school and later earned a Ph.D. degree from the International University of Catalonia (UIC). He further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a certificate in periodontology and implant dentistry along with a Master of Science in oral biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry (UMB). Dr Blasi continued his postgraduate education at UMB as a Fellow in the Implant Prosthodontics Program. His academic work was recognized in 2016 when he received the prestigious Richard Lazzara Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. Currently, Dr Blasi serves as a visiting professor in the Department of Periodontics at UMB and as a program co-director at UIC. He maintains a private practice in Barcelona at BLASI Dental Clinic.
