Join Dr Andrew Skasko as he navigates through a complex case involving a patient with failing restorations, occlusal issues, caries, and more. Collaborating with ceramist Mr Pinhas Adar and a team of specialists, attendees will engage in group discussions, following the traditional Seattle Study Club treatment planning format.

Dr Andrew Skasko is the founder of Elite Dental and Skasko Smile Design Studio in New Albany, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry College of Dentistry, completing his training in 2004. Dr Skasko opened his comprehensive interdisciplinary practice, Elite Dental in 2005 with special focus on complex team based treatment. In 2018, he further advanced his brand founding Skasko Smile Design Studio.
In his mentorship role to younger colleagues, he has most recently partnered and co founded Molnar and Skasko Family and Cosmetic Dentistry; focusing on providing advanced dental care to underserved communities. His strong core values and commitment to excellence in patient care has enabled his primary practice to evolve into one of the most comprehensive and productive dental practices in the country.
Throughout his time in practice, he has maintained a strong commitment to advanced education and developed a passion for complex reconstructive dentistry. He has been very involved in both teaching and presenting comprehensive treatment planning exercises to study clubs throughout the US.
Additionally, Dr Skasko has competed in numerous world treatment planning programs at the Seattle Study Club annual symposiums . In January 2023 , Dr Skasko was honored to be named team lead for Team North America in a planning square-off between North America and Spain.
Dr Skasko is a clinical assistant professor in the restorative/prosthodontics division of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and speaks nationally on successful interdisciplinary concepts.
Dr Skasko resides in New Albany, Ohio with his wife Sue; son, Drew; daughter, Arden and their Cavapoo, Josh. He enjoys working on vintage and exotic cars, martial arts, snowboarding, traveling abroad and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Ali Afshar received his first dental degree from the University of Alberta in 2001, followed by a certificate in advanced graduate studies in general dentistry from Boston University. He currently has a referral practice limited to dental implants, soft tissue management, and complex restorative cases. He is a graduate and clinical instructor at the Kois Center in Seattle, graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute, and is on the faculty of the Vancouver MaxiCourse. He is currently a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and a DSD key opinion leader. He is involved with several programs of advanced training in implant and esthetic dentistry in Canada and the U.S.
Master Ceramist Pinhas Adar studied initially in Tel Aviv, Israel and completed his in- ternship in Zurich, Switzerland and returned to Israel to complete his Master degree in Dental Technology. He has 35 years of experience in all phases of dental laboratory technology, specializing in the many facets of porcelain esthetic restorations on both natural teeth and osseointegrated implants.
Mr Adar has lectured all over Europe, Israel, the Far East and Australia, Canada and the United States, on the multidisciplinary approaches in optimizing esthetics. He has the unique privilege of working and teaching with many leaders in the field of esthetic and cosmetic dentistry in interdisciplinary settings. He has contributed chapters in texts on posterior ceramic restorations and porcelain laminate veneers, published by Quintessence Publishing Co., Inc. as well as numerous magazine articles. He has produced educational DVD’s for the dental industry on different topics entitled “Porcelain Laminate Veneers”, “Crowns from Vision to Reality”, and “Trial Smile.”
He resides in Atlanta, GA where he practices, teaches and does research from his dental laboratory. Mr Adar has lectured and presented live television programs in the United States, Europe, Israel, the Far East and Australia, as well as a multitude of programs nationally on the multidisciplinary approaches in optimizing esthetics in complex implant restorations. He has the unique privilege of working and teaching with many leaders in the field of esthetic/cosmetic/implant dentistry in interdisciplinary settings in many different cultural backgrounds.
He has the distinction of being the first dental ceramist to address an international meeting of the American College of Prosthodontists. He has contributed chapters in texts on posterior ceramic restorations and porcelain laminate veneers, published by Quintessence Publishing Co., Inc. He contributed text to a multi-disciplinary book, “The Art of the Smile” published by Quintessence Publishing Co., as well as numerous magazine articles on both implants as well as smile design and communication within the dental team.
Dr Drew Ferris attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City for his DDS degree and received his certificate and masters of science in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Loma Linda University. He owns four private practices in Santa Barbara, California. Dr Ferris has distinguished himself as a leader in the innovative use of both clear aligners and fixed appliances in first-phase, adolescent, and complex interdisciplinary treatment. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of orthodontic topics including diagnosis, treatment, and practice management. Dr Ferris is one of the nation’s top clear aligner providers, a published author, and has designed and developed products and techniques in his field. He is also a faculty member in orthodontics at Loma Linda University. In addition to working in his practice and frequent lecturing, Drew is director of Santa Barbara Dental Study Group, where he serves as an advisor on orthodontic diagnosis and treatment technique.
Dr Rick Munaretto was raised and currently practices in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He is a partner at Cameo Dental Specialists, LLP. Cameo Dental Specialists brings together endodontics, periodontics and oral maxillofacial surgery to continually strive for the best patient outcomes through interdisciplinary treatment planning. Dr Munaretto received both his dental degree and endodontic specialty certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry. After five years of private practice, Dr Rick completed his Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He serves as an associate professor at the UIC Department of Endodontics lecturing on dental traumatic injuries, resorption and endodontic surgery, and is an oral examiner for the endodontic residency program. Dr Munaretto lectured on CBCT, endodontic treatment and dental traumatic injuries for the Chicago Midwinter Meetings in 2008, 2013, 2015 and 2022. He is past-president of the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club in Chicago. Dr Munaretto was the first endodontist to serve as a director of a Seattle Study Club, a position he held for 12 years with Windy City Seminars. Dr Michael Cohen presented Dr Munaretto with the “Best in Study Club Management Award” at the 2015 Seattle Study Club Symposium.
Dr Jason Stoner is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Implantologist accredited by the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implantology, and is located in Columbus, Ohio. Dr Stoner attended The Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Military History in 1993. Dr Stoner immediately entered The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS Degree in 1997 and began research in cancer identification and treatment. Dr. Stoner furthered his training and received his Certificate in Periodontology at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry Section of Periodontology’s three-year Residency Training Program, a specialty devoted to expertise in dental implantology and periodontology therapeutics. Simultaneous to his residency training, Dr Stoner completed a Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine for his continued research in the field of medicinal cancer therapy for which he was awarded a scholarship twice. This intensive research program focused on the utilization of thalidomide for the treatment of Kaposi’s sarcoma, and resulted in awards for two years consecutively by the American Cancer Society where he achieved Fellowship status-a distinguished honor reserved for only two people per year between dental, medical, PhD and Master’s students and pharmacists.
