Martha Enson
Improvisation 101
Lecture up to 1 hour
Self Improvement | AGD Subject Code 770
Come engage in the fine art of play! Based in the principle of “Yes, and…”, you’ll learn to trust your instincts and your imagination – and how to surprise yourself! The tools of improvisation increase connection to intuition and include practicing how to 1) listen, 2) agree and 3) propose – in that order! This is less a “comedy improv” class, and more a chance to be spontaneous, pay close attention to what’s happening in and around you, and have fun.
Upon completion of this session, attendees should be able to:
- Understand and apply the basic principles of Improv.
- Utilize “yes, and . . .” to enhance daily interactions.
