Interdisciplinary Management of Non-syndromic Tooth Agenesis
Lecture up to 0.75 hour
Multi-disciplinary Topics | AGD Subject Code 149
Achieving optimal outcomes for patients with congenitally missing multiple teeth is one of the most demanding tasks in dentistry. These cases often require coordinated treatment across multiple disciplines to address specific esthetic and functional discrepancies. Treatment planning in such cases is inherently complex and requires creative, collaborative care by an interdisciplinary team to meet diverse treatment objectives.
This presentation illustrates how an interdisciplinary approach shapes treatment planning, facilitates effective communication, and sequences therapy to optimize both esthetic and functional results.
Upon completion of this session, attendees should be able to:
- Understand the importance of the interdisciplinary team setting treatment ‘objectives’.
- Understand how interdisciplinary care can optimize treatment outcomes.
- Illustrated the coordination and sequencing different clinical challenges.
